Metal forming
Metal forming is a key process in manufacturing technology, in which metal is shaped into the desired form using specialized tools—without material loss and often without heat treatment. The use of high-precision forming-, fine blanking-, and progressive tools allows to efficiently manifacture components with tight tolerances and high surface quality . This process is essential for series production, as it optimizes precision, reproducibility and cost-effectiveness in metalworking.
Precision through specialized tools and spare parts
In metal forming, we are specialized in the development and manufacture of high-precision tools for the production of components made of various materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper. Our rolling tools and connecting rod forming tools are designed to optimize the production of components with specific shape requirements. This enables precise manufacturing to the highest quality standards without the use of a material-altering welding process. We supply these tools and custom-fit spare parts for efficient use in production.
Fine blanking tools and progressive dies: Precision for your production
One highlight of our expertise is our fine blanking tool, which has been developed especially for the manufacturing of high-precision components with exact cutting edges and a high proportion of fine cuts. These tools ensure outstanding surface quality and enable the production of components with tight tolerances. By using our fine blanking pad, it is possible to implement the fine blanking process on conventional presses. This eliminates the need to purchase an additional fine blanking press.
With our progressive tools, we offer you a solution for running multiple forming processes in a single operation. These tools are ideal for serial production, as they increase efficiency and enable high quantities to be produced with consistently high precision.
Transfer tools
A transfer tool is a special tool used in forming technology, that shapes components in several steps and transports them from station to station at the same time. It consists of several stages—in our case up to 15—and is mainly used in the series production of aluminum and steel parts. The raw part undergoes various forming processes until the finished component is produced at the end. The automatic transfer ensures high efficiency and repetitive accuracy in the production process.
Prototype tools: From development to serial production
We also offer the manufacture of parts using prototype tools. This enables components to be manufactured under serial production conditions. We are happy to take on both tool manufacturing and parts production.
The prototype parts are used to check the functionality and quality of the components at an early stage, so that the transition from prototype production to series production can be implemented efficiently and precisely.
